Life with Arezou

“Arezou, whose name means ‘hope,’ is a young girl living with her family in an isolated mountain village in Iran. Arezou suffers from paralysis. Unable to walk and without access to a wheelchair, Arezou makes the two-kilometer journey to and from school in a wheelbarrow, pushed by her father. Life with Arezou provides an insight into the obstacles faced by rural people with disabilities, and the lengths they and their families go to in order to overcome them.”
