Caesar’s Bridge

In December, 1943, during the German occupation in France, Francis Poulenc was set to sing the poem by Louis Aragon “Bridges of C”. Both artists overcame their internal contradictions to confront the Conqueror.
We find the etymology of the word C in the ancient Celtic word for the Sea, the English word Sea, and in the Latin word Caesar.
